Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)

  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce

  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon honey (or maple syrup)

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • Juice of 1 lime

  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger (optional but recommended)

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • Chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper and lightly oil it.

  • In a small bowl, whisk together sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, honey, garlic, lime juice, and ginger.

  • Pat the salmon dry and place fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Season lightly with salt and pepper.

  • Brush the glaze generously over each salmon fillet, reserving a little for serving.

  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until salmon flakes easily with a fork.

  • For a caramelized top, broil for an additional 1–2 minutes, watching closely.

  • Drizzle with remaining glaze, garnish with sesame seeds and green onions, and serve warm!

Notes

  • Swap lime for lemon if needed

  • For more heat, add red pepper flakes or a dash of sriracha

  • Delicious served over rice, noodles, or alongside fresh veggies

  • Don’t skip the broil—it gives that irresistible caramelized finish!
