4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon honey (or maple syrup)
2 garlic cloves, minced
Juice of 1 lime
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger (optional but recommended)
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and black pepper to taste
Chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper and lightly oil it.
In a small bowl, whisk together sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, honey, garlic, lime juice, and ginger.
Pat the salmon dry and place fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
Brush the glaze generously over each salmon fillet, reserving a little for serving.
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until salmon flakes easily with a fork.
For a caramelized top, broil for an additional 1–2 minutes, watching closely.
Drizzle with remaining glaze, garnish with sesame seeds and green onions, and serve warm!
Swap lime for lemon if needed
For more heat, add red pepper flakes or a dash of sriracha
Delicious served over rice, noodles, or alongside fresh veggies
Don’t skip the broil—it gives that irresistible caramelized finish!
