Easy Crispy Chicken Ranch Snack Wrap for Lunch or Dinner

This Crispy Chicken Ranch Snack Wrap is a delightful combination of crunchy chicken, creamy ranch, and fresh lettuce all wrapped in a soft tortilla. Perfect for a quick lunch or a satisfying dinner, it’s a flavor explosion in every bite!

  • Creamy ranch dressing
  • 6-inch or 8-inch flour tortillas
  • Fresh shredded lettuce (iceberg or romaine)
  • Shredded cheese (mild or medium cheddar, Monterey Jack, or Mexican blend)
  • Diced tomatoes (optional)
  • Dill pickle slices (optional)
  • Chives or green onions (optional)

Instructions

  1. First things first, we need that chicken to be perfectly crispy! If you're using frozen crispy chicken strips or popcorn chicken, follow the package instructions. My preferred method is usually the air fryer for about 8-12 minutes at 400°F (200°C), flipping halfway, until they are golden brown and super crunchy. Alternatively, you can use a conventional oven, baking them according to the package directions. Once cooked, let the chicken cool for just a moment, then cut it into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Warm tortillas are much more pliable and less likely to crack when you’re rolling them up. I usually warm mine briefly in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 15-20 seconds per side, until they’re soft and slightly puffed. You can also pop them in the microwave for about 10-15 seconds, or stack them and wrap them in a damp paper towel before microwaving for ultimate softness.
  3. Lay a warmed tortilla flat on your clean work surface. Spread a thin, even layer of ranch dressing across the center of the tortilla, leaving about an inch clear around the edges.
  4. Next, pile a small handful of fresh, finely shredded lettuce right over the ranch.
  5. Now, place your warm, crispy chicken pieces on top of the lettuce. Try to arrange them in a line down the center for easier rolling.
  6. Generously sprinkle your shredded cheese over the chicken.
  7. If you're adding any extra goodies like diced tomatoes or dill pickle slices, now’s the time to tuck them in with the chicken and cheese.
  8. Fold the two opposite sides of the tortilla inward over the filling, just enough to cover the edges of your ingredients.
  9. Then, starting from the bottom, tightly roll the tortilla upwards, tucking the filling in as you go.
  10. Once rolled, slice your snack wrap in half diagonally.
  11. Serve immediately for the best texture and taste.
