  • 1 pound of sausage (pork or beef)
  • 1 can of Rotel tomatoes (drained)
  • 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups of Bisquick or all-purpose flour (with 1 teaspoon of baking powder if using all-purpose)
  • Garlic powder to taste
  • Onion powder to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 pound of sausage, 1 can of Rotel tomatoes, 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese, and 2 cups of Bisquick.
  3. If using all-purpose flour, add about 2 cups with 1 teaspoon of baking powder.
  4. Sprinkle in garlic powder, onion powder, and salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything together until well combined, preferably using your hands.
  5. Take small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Allow the sausage balls to cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before transferring them to a serving platter.
